Cox leads Florida Atlantic after second round at Paradise Invitational

Florida Atlantic University’s women’s golf team is tied for eighth place after the first two rounds of the Paradise Invitational, which is presented by CIEE Golf is Global. The event, taking place in Boca Raton, has Tennessee leading Kentucky by a single shot with one round left to play on Wednesday.

Nancy Cox led Florida Atlantic during Tuesday’s second round with a bogey-free 70, finishing at one under par. Cox currently shares eighth place going into the final round. Tennessee’s Kyra Van Can holds the individual lead at seven under par following her own bogey-free 65.

Final round tee times for FAU players start at 7:45 a.m., with Maddie Rathjen (+10), Carolin Alblas (+9), Tina Genoulaz (+5), Charlotte Perkins (+4), and Nancy Cox (-1) set to compete throughout the morning. Two Owls are playing as individuals: Giulia Scarcello (+9) tees off at 9:42 a.m., followed by Amelia Cobb (+22) at 9:51 a.m.
