Florida Atlantic men’s basketball Head Coach John Jakus met with the media on March 9 to discuss the team’s preparations for postseason play.

The meeting comes as the No. 7 Owls, holding a record of 17-14 overall and 9-9 in conference play, get ready to travel to Birmingham, Alabama, for the 2026 American Conference Championship tournament. The team is set as the seventh seed and will face No. 10 seed Temple, which has a record of 16-15 overall and 8-10 in conference games.

The upcoming matchup marks the third time this season that Florida Atlantic will compete against Temple. The first-round game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 11, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
