CJ Beaumont, a standout former player at Palm Beach Preparatory Charter Academy, was part of Sam Houston State’s 86-81 victory over Missouri State on Saturday, February 28.
The 6′8″ junior guard tallied eight points, grabbed two rebounds, and added one block in his 13 minutes on the floor.
Beaumont and Sam Houston State will travel to face the Delaware Blue Hens at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 5.
Florida Atlantic beach volleyball wrapped up its regular season by splitting matches at Seattle’s Alki Beach Invitational. The team swept Portland but narrowly lost to Boise State ahead of next week’s Conference USA Championship.
Florida Atlantic University’s baseball team defeated Tulane 10-9 on April 18 for a series victory. The Owls held off a late rally by Tulane thanks to strong performances both offensively and on the mound. The teams meet again Sunday for their final matchup.
Florida Atlantic University’s women’s track and field team wrapped up a two-day meet at Georgia Tech. Madison Brown earned a top-10 program finish in the 5000 meters. The team prepares next for competition at Northern Florida’s UNF Invitational.
