The Florida Atlantic University women’s tennis doubles team, composed of Panna Bartha and Katrin Pavkova, has achieved a national ranking of No. 56 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll.

Bartha and Pavkova have recorded a 6-3 dual match record this season, competing on both the first and second doubles courts. In singles matches, both players have an even 4-4 record. Bartha has played primarily on the top three singles courts, while Pavkova has competed on courts three through five.

Their efforts have contributed to the team’s overall record of 4-6. The Owls have experienced several close contests, including four matches that ended with a score of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Florida Atlantic will begin a seven-match homestand starting Monday, March 9 against Yale. The regular season will conclude with an away match at FIU on Sunday, April 11. Afterward, the team is scheduled to participate in the American Conference Championship at Rice from April 16 to April 19.
